Join us for a screening of the 2023 documentary Chinatown Punk Wars, which chronicles the rivalry between two music clubs, Madame Wong’s and the Hong Kong Cafe, in L.A.’s Chinatown. Part of the Artbound series, this screening is presented in partnership with PBS SoCal. A performance by Randy Stodola and Apryl Cady of the Alleycats, the first punk band to play at Madame Wong’s and regular performers at the Hong Kong Cafe, will follow the showing.
